WDP launches digital HR with Accelerators for SAP SuccessFactors
Warehouses De Pauw (WDP) is on a mission to "transform the supply chain through warehouses with brains". Since their people are key to ensuring that transformation, WDP decided to invest in futureproof HR software. With Flexso’s Accelerators for SAP SuccessFactors, WDP is now digitizing key HR processes quickly and cost-effectively – to create a more engaging experience for both employees and HR teams.
Supporting ambition and growth with digital HR
WDP is very ambitious: “We want to become a full-fledged pan-European player," says Head of HR Sophie De Luyck. To achieve that ambition, the company is strengthening its market-leading position in the Benelux and Romania, while also expanding into new territories like France and Germany.
With these ambitions and growth came the need to professionalize and, thus, digitize HR. Sophie and her colleagues knew exactly what type of HR solution they wanted.
“WDP is installing smart warehouses throughout Europe and is truly committed to innovation and technology. So we wanted a leading cloud-based solution. Still, as a mid-sized company, we didn’t need a comprehensive solution built for large enterprises. Instead, we were looking for a low-threshold, intuitive, scalable solution that would support our ambitious growth plans.”

SAP SuccessFactors, the right fit with the Accelerator approach
In the summer of 2023, WDP started rolling out SAP SuccessFactors. "I’d worked with SAP SuccessFactors in the past and appreciated its user-friendliness and rich features,” Sophie explains. “For WDP, we chose a fit-to-standard, modular approach. Rather than a full transformation, we decided to focus on digitizing key HR processes based on best practices.”

Starting with 4 SAP SuccessFactors modules
WDP decided to get started with 4 SAP SuccessFactors modules, based on the HR processes with the highest priority.
1. Performance & Goals
This module enables a structured approach to feedback, performance and goal management. Both managers and employees have easy access to an overview of progress, targets, and evaluation history, ensuring maximum transparency.
2. Employee Central
As the core of SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central gathers all key HR information in one place and empowers employees to take ownership of their data, keeping them up to date themselves in this module.
3. Learning
WDP commits to the well-being, safety and development of their driving force: #TeamWDP. The SAP SuccessFactors Learning module enables WDP to digitize their balanced global learning plan, and at the same time provide theires employees with access to a rich library of knowledge, to enhance their skills at your own pace.
4. Onboarding
Finally, with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, WDP automates key parts of the onboarding process—from sending welcome emails to providing essential documents and guiding new hires through the first few days. This ensures a smooth start for every new employee. Also for the offboarding process, there is now an efficient alignment in place.

And we’re also exploring ways to enhance HR reporting, which will greatly help our ESG team in preparing data for CSRD compliance. Exciting times are ahead!"
